Welcome To Middle School

The Middle School Academic program at Redwood Day aims to support and nurture all learners through challenging, inspiring, differentiated, and supportive learning environments.

A strong academic foundation through a rigorous core curriculum (English, History, Science, Math, and World Languages) is enriched by a varied specialist program (Drama and Public Speaking, Visual Arts, Music, Design Build Innovate, Wellness and Life Skills, PE) where students engage in meaningful, dynamic learning experiences that develop their skills of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.

The Redwood Day Middle School Advisory, Community, and Equity and Inclusion programs work in tandem to build relationships, establish belonging, and support students as they traverse the Middle School years so they can thrive socially and academically and be ready for their next challenges.

The Optimal Learning Zone, social-emotional learning, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging are at the intersection of all learning at Redwood Day.
