2024-25 PGA Welcome Letter

We hope this message finds you well and excited for the new school year. As your new PGA Co-Presidents, we, Emma Purdy and Jason Culbertson are thrilled to welcome you to the 2024-2025 academic year at Redwood Day.

 

This year promises to be an exciting one as we build on the strengths of our community and strive to make meaningful connections among all of the families, students, faculty, and staff. Our theme for this year is "Building Together," focusing on collaboration, inclusion, community engagement, and enhancing the overall experience for our children.

 

Every Redwood Day parent and guardian is a vital member of the PGA. Your involvement, whether big or small, helps create a nurturing and enriching environment for our students. We encourage you to participate in our activities and events, as they are excellent opportunities to connect with other families and contribute to our vibrant school community.

 

Throughout the year, we host a variety of events, including community-building activities, speakers, affinity groups and our annual auction. From cashiering at the Book Fair to helping out at the Fall Festival, there are numerous ways for you to get involved. We want to assure you that every effort, whether securing a donation, volunteering at an event, or simply attending meetings, will make a significant impact.

 

Our first PGA meeting is planned for September 19, and we invite you all to join us. It’s a great way to learn more about what we do, share your ideas, and get to know other parents and guardians. We believe that when we work together, we can create a supportive and inclusive community that benefits everyone and fosters our culture of belonging.
